Handira Blanket

The Handira Blankets are traditionally worn by Berber brides to bless them on their wedding day. These blankets were considered very precious as they took many months to make and are therefore highly treasured.

The Handira Blanket is hand loomed by local Berber Women Artisans from the Atlas region in Morocco using velvet, cotton and metal sequins sewn one-by-one. and this design is very vintage.
